Are you looking for a chance to have your child playing basketball for fun while focusing on essential basketball skills that will help them improve their game?
Are you looking for an affordable local basketball camp that your son and daughter can enjoy? Are you looking for a clinic that will suit your son/daughter’s skill level?
If you answered yes to any of the questions above, former Lakeland High School great Jessica Duleba’s “Essential Basketball Skills Training Sessions” is exactly what you’re looking for.
The foundational skills your son/daughter will learn are the essential skills that will be passed on to every team they play on. “I will focus on the fundamentals and pay attention to the little details that make a big difference,” Duleba said. “I want young people to have the opportunity to train several times a week at a high level and to have it affordable by a dedicated coach who wants them to succeed.”
Coach Jess, as her players call her, delivers her program at Lakeland High School through the Huron Valley Recreation and Community Education Schools. Each practice is open to all players from any school district. She has options for players in grades 3-8 and 9-12.
The focus will be on four skills that will help them become better players. “We will focus on footwork, attention to detail, mentality and basketball IQ.”
Duleba played on the 2009 KLAA North Division Championship Team in Lakeland and the 2009 KLAA Lakes Conference Championship Team under former Eagle coach Mike Head. She then played at Baruch College in New York where she was voted Metro Player of the Year. Duleba then played professional basketball in Europe for five years where she saw how basketball is played in France, Spain, Poland, Belgium and Germany.
